WOSSNER YB EXHAUST VALVES (SET OF 8)

Description We stock the exhaust valve set manufactured by Wossner for the Cosworth YB engine. Wossner are a very well respected and renowned performance valve specialist. The Wossner part number for this valve set is KV9542-E. These exhaust valves are manufactured from Inconel 751, which is a high-chromium nickel-based superalloy. Inconel retains better tensile strength properties at elevated temperatures when compared with conventional stainless steel alloys. As a result, Inconel is particularly well-suited to the higher stresses and temperatures that will be experienced by an exhaust valve in a high-performance engine such as the Cosworth YB. The stem of each valve is black nitrided. This process creates a surface that has an extremely durable finish, with excellent corrosion and abrasion resistance. In addition, it creates a surface with very low friction.
