I liked the brand philosophy and decided to give the Joule Fountain Pen and some of the Ferris inks a try.Overall solid quality and worth the price. I like the clip-less design, the weight, and the nib writes really well.The color (I have the green “moss” one) is slightly disappointing in reality – the embedded “glitter” that is very prominent in the product photos is almost invisible, unless you hold it in a specific angle under really bright light.And the ink converter is of doubtful quality – at this price point I would expect a screw-in model that is safely attached to the pen. This one is very hard to get in, but can slip out and cause a mess. The mechanics of it feel flimsy. Probably will exchange it for a different model, e.g. Kaweco.Still a nice pen that has a permanent place in my everyday pen bag (together with a TAG Submarine).
