So far they do not show up on my scans, which is good if you are looking for non-photogenic blue. The leads themselves are pretty fragile and brittle. Regular mechanical pencils and very hard flat surfaces tend to break the leads way too often. To fix this occurring problem I purchased GraphGear 1000 mechanical pencil by Pentel, and used more papers to soften the one I draw on. There were no problems with the delivery.
