I love the Pentel 8 in 1. The barrel is so comfortable when coloring with the pen. I have two plus come clutch pens for my travel adult coloring setup. The only regret is that Pentel only offers 12 colors. The leads of good quality and lay down, layer , and blend. I also use other colored leads in my 8 in 1 such as DEDEDEPRAISE, June Gold, REOUG, and Zebra. I just use an exacto knife to cut to fit as they are longer leads than the Pentel leads. This isn’t a problem because the shorter pieces can still be used in a clutch. Included is a photo of some quick examples of blending and layering of the various brands of colored leads.
