We have a cat who is obsessed with licking herself, it’s strictly behavioral. She’s neurotic and focuses on a spot on her body to lick until the fur is gone, leaving behind a patch of bald skin. The Vet has assured us she’s okay but it still looks uncomfortable, her skin gets red and angry after she’s done plucking all that fur out. I was putting coconut oil on her patches but she licks it off quicker than I can apply it, she loves coconut oil. When the opportunity to try this Hot Spot Itch Relief spray came up, I jumped on it and I’m happy I did.I’ve been using it on her for 7 days, starting at once per day for the first few days because she can be a tough cookie to put anything on except coconut oil. We’re now up to using this three times daily as recommended per the instructions and the improvement on her skin patches has been incredible. While she doesn’t seem to be bothered by her naked skin, she does seem to be very pleased with spray time as I’ve been calling it. I shake the bottle and she comes running and gets ready to be hit with some itch relief. It’s been a very easy addition to our daily routine. It’s difficult to take photos of her bald patches, she’s a feisty little bug and not a sit still poser cat. I will try to get some that are in focus and post them to this review. This spray really has made a world of difference on her skin. It’s also great because it’s safe for her to lick, it’s safe for use everywhere which is fantastic and it’s super easy to apply. [...]
