Having extra Ninja Creami Pints & Lids is ALWAYS boost with a any family using the new Ninja Creami NC501 unit! The pints are VERY similar to the original, but it should be noted that the lids with this set are slightly too small for the brand cup, so it may be helpful to code the pints to the lids with a permament marker of some kind, to avoid frustration with lids. I am attaching a picture of 2 container above, with the original Ninja brand container on the right hand side of the picture. You can see that the units are nearly identical, and set perfectly in to the Creami unit for spinning. I am happy to have the extra pints, as we use them often, and for other purposes in the kitchen, as well. It should be noted that units also fit comfortably into a set of sleeves (with handles) we purchased for the 24oz containers. All in all, I think these units will work great, despite the minor compatibility lid issue using these lids with the original Ninja container. An easy fix to mark the jars and lids that pair together with a permanent marker on the bottom of each unit.
