I ordered this cat skin spray for one of my cats that has some scabby feeling areas on his head. I was trying to not buy more flea medicine since it was so close to winter, and my other two cats weren’t having the spots. But I thought it might be fleas. Anyway, I put some of this on my hand and petted his head….he immediately took off. Whatever is in this, he doesn’t like it. But the next day he’s head felt like it had improved. I went ahead and gave them all another round of flea medication. But he still has a spot or two, so I tried again…. putting it on his neck. Again, he took off. But again, it seemed a little improved. I do think this stuff works, but it must sting or something. And this particular cat likes to play with one of my dogs, so it may not be fleas causing the spots. But rough housing instead. He’s part Maine coone, so he thinks he is a dog, I believe! Anyway I’m on the fence about this product. But I am from the Mercurochrome era, so I will probably continue to use it on him occasionally. But not often enough he avoids getting petted.
