I spotted this on my vine listings and given my wife and I take care of the local stray animals, I figured I would give it a shot. It’s a lot cheaper than prescription antibiotics that are insanely difficult to get, primarily due to our awful medical greed in America.Unfortunately, after a couple of weeks of regular doses on a pair of kittens with some typical ailments you see in stray animals, there is no noticeable improvement. We consistently give according to directions, such as they are.The one up side is that they look forward to and love their medicine and the other animals (including a very large rooster) congregate around when they smell it. It’s chicken flavor, so I do have to question the morals of that rooster…I’ve still got a bottle left from the two pack and will update if exhausting the entire supply over time made any noticeable impact, but insofar as I’ve seen, this is a placebo — it’s a nice thought, but doesn’t deliver any real results.They sure love the flavor, though.UPDATE:Not going to improve the star rating because it’s hit-or-miss, but I will note that having used this with a few different kittens since the review, some of them have had immediate positive improvements and others no noticeable impact. It’s purely anecdotal, given I’m neither a medical professional nor do I have the means to have these critters tested due to excessive expense, but I now keep some of this on hand for sickly kittens.Not going to say it IS effective, but my results, as they saying goes, have varied. Will add this review to the other product pages — it’s a generic product being re-sold by several different vendors on Amazon, but Immal is the brand. Just look for the lowest price available, because it varies due to price gouge and undercutting dynamics amongst vendors.
